Dear --name--

Welcome to Front Royal, VA |
Welcome, new readers! As the beauty of autumn transports us to a world of blazing reds and stunning yellows, we give thanks to God for the blessings of faith, country and family. In this newsletter, we want to say thanks to the many people who opened their hearts to us on our recent trip to Washington, D.C. and Virginia.
We appreciate the service to our country by all the active and retired marines we met at Quantico Marine Corps base in Virginia, and yes, look for more military action in future books. Our visit to the FBI Academy at Quantico brought back many good memories as we signed copies of our books there. Those of you who have read Confirming Justice know that FBI Agent Griff Topping spent time nosing around Front Royal, VA looking for a missing FBI Agent.

A heartfelt thanks to Joan and Bob, owners of the Woodward House on the Manor Grade Bed & Breakfast in Front Royal, who treated us like royalty while we were at the town’s visitor center to sign books for new readers. Bob and Joan make the best omelet we’ve ever tasted. When you visit Front Royal, be sure to stop at the visitor center and say hello to Don and Bob, who will give you directions to the many historical sights and the beautiful Blue Ridge parkway.
We’d love to hear back from you. Who is your favorite character in Facing Justice and Confirming Justice? Tell us why you like him or her and who you would like to see in our next novel, which we are working on now. But get your comments in soon before we leave for our book signing appearances in Louisville, Nashville, and central and southern Florida during November and December. You can find the exact dates on our website home page.
Happy writing and reading, Diane and David
