Spring turns toward summer, and new life is all around us! Cardinals and robins building their nests is a wonderful reminder of Resurrection Day, which we just celebrated. We remember it is Christ’s death and resurrection that reconciles each of us to God, our Creator.

Speaking of new life in the spring time, we visited the Word of Life Easter production in Hudson, Florida, where each year, Babe the donkey carries the actor playing Jesus onto the set. This year Babe was “with child” during the production, and on a Sunday morning, her morning off work, Babe gave birth to Ezra. This photo of the baby donkey was taken when he was not yet twenty-four hours old. In the Bible, Ezra was a descendent of Aaron, and the king gave him everything he asked, as the hand of God was upon Ezra.

Other things have been born this spring. We are pleased to announce that our latest suspense thriller, Confirming Justice will be released in late summer of 2006. Please check out the Book Page for more details and for a peek at the new cover.

Research and travels have taken us to the halls of power in Washington, D.C., the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains in Front Royal, Virginia, and the warm climate of Florida. We nosed around Tampa, Homosassa, Crystal River, Yankeetown, and the Big Cypress and Brighton Indian reservations and give you a peek at all of these places in Confirming Justice.
